The Easy Nature Trail |

This illustrated guide to the nature trail around
the mill meadow is aimed at children. Beginning at the Miller's Well,
the trail follows the mown pathway around the meadow and ends near
the entrance to the Miller's Garden. Seven locations are marked by numbered indicator boards. At these, the guide ask the participants simple questions relating to what can be seen at each of the locations. These range from the types and age of trees around the meadow, hunting for particular grasses, or counting the number of apple trees adjacent to the Miller's Garden. On completion of the questions, the successful visitor can return to the Sales or Exhibition Room to be awarded a gold star for their efforts. |
