This illustrated guide to the mill is designed for
children, the aim being to encourage them to visit different areas
of the mill. It begins with a simplified diagram of the mill showing
the different areas and the route the grain follows as it is milled
into flour.
The remainder of the guide is devoted to a series of photographs and
diagrams of locations or items within the mill. At these, the guide
asks participants simple questions relating to what can be seen at
each of the locations, the answers being either chosen from a series
of options or confirming that the item has been seen
On completion of the questions, the successful visitor can return
to the Exhibition Room to be awarded a gold star for their efforts. |
