News Archive - Arrival of the dishwasher
|
 |
Since the tea room opened at the Mill some years ago,
the number of visitors wishing to enjoy the home-made cakes and Fair
Trade tea and coffee has increased steadily. Now, during each Open
Day, there are approximately 200 visitors to the tea room. With only
a limited amount of available work space, it became apparent that
a dishwasher was needed to cope with the enormous amount of washing
up.
The New Hall Mill Committee approached the Sutton Coldfield Municipal
Charities who very generously donated the total cost of a small commercial
dishwasher for installation in the tea room.
Since it was fitted during the spring of 2006, the dishwasher has
proved invaluable. The New Hall Mill Committee, and all the tea room
'volunteers', are very grateful to the Sutton Coldfield Municipal
Charities in providing such a useful machine.
