Walsall Handspinners

The Walsall Handspinners set up their spinning
wheels in a gazebo in the mill meadow during
their visits on the Mill Open Day.

The friendly and informal group of all ages meet each Friday at The Anchorage Club in Aldridge (opposite
the Community Centre) from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

At their meetings, they share their skills and interests in working with any type of fibre, including wool, silk, cotton, dog hair, cashmere, angora, linen and man-made fibres. They also hold monthly workshops when the topics covered may include spinning, weaving, felting, dyeing, tapestry, knitting, fleece sorting, crochet, tatting, rug making, basket making, paper making and braiding.

Disabled access and parking are available and visitors are always welcome. For further information, call Beryl Budd on 0121 353 3813 or Betty Fox on 01922 452230. Alternatively,
