On our Open Day on 29th May, we had a visit from the U3A Swing Division to entertain us with swing and big band jazz. Appearing with some trepidation as it was their first 'public' appearance, it was a big jump from playing to private groups in clubs and halls.

They need not have worried as the tea room emptied, the mill emptied, even the water wheel stopped as the mill yard filled with visitors all wanting to listen.
The most popular request came at the end!
"When are they coming again?"

On 10th September, our last 2017 Open Day,

During the Open Days, the mill yard and meadow field are occupied by exhibitors and charities. Visitors are free to wander around at their own pace to view the stands and chat with the exhibitors. The dates for the Open Days for 2017 are now available on the Open Days page, also the lists of Events and Walks.
